Zeng Jize

Zeng Jize 曾纪泽 (1839-1890) was a Chinese diplomat serving as an early minister to London, Paris, and St. Petersburg playing an important role in diplomacy during the Sino-French War and the use of telegrams for Qing diplomacy.
Positions
He was appointed minister to Britain, France, and Russia in 1878 living in Europe from 1879-1885. He was joined by Yang Wenhui in his 1878 trip to Europe.
