==Biography==

Zhū was a member of the Tóngménghuì 同盟會, and participated in the early Republican government under Yuán Shìkǎi 袁世凱, but left politics around [[1922]]. By [[1921]] he was in Běijīng listening to a lecture by Tàixū [[太虛]] with other prominent Beijing lay Buddhists, including Jiǎng Wéiqiáo [[蔣維喬]].

Zhū became an associate of Ōuyáng Jiàn [[歐陽漸]], was a student of Hán Qīngjìng [[韓清淨]]<ref>See Shì Dōngchū 釋東初, 中日佛教交通史, 737. [http://dongchu.ddbc.edu.tw/html/02/cwdc_02/cwdc_020726.html]</ref>, and Zhōu Shànpéi [[周善培]]. He is best known for his ''Dictionary of Dharmalakṣaṇa'' 法相辭典, written between [[1934]] and [[1937]], and published in [[1939]].
