Zhū Fèihuáng 朱芾煌 (1877-1955?) is best known for his Dictionary of Dharmalakṣaṇa 法相辭典 (1939)

Biography

Zhū was a member of the Tóngménghuì 同盟會, and participated in the early Republican government under Yuán Shìkǎi 袁世凱, but left politics around 1922. By 1921 he was in Běijīng listening to a lecture by Tàixū 太虛 with other prominent Beijing lay Buddhists, including Jiǎng Wéiqiáo 蔣維喬.

Zhū became an associate of Ōuyáng Jiàn 歐陽漸, was a student of Hán Qīngjìng 韓清淨[1], and Zhōu Shànpéi 周善培. He is best known for his Dictionary of Dharmalakṣaṇa 法相辭典, written between 1934 and 1937, and published in 1939.
